July 13 & 14: Electric Daisy Fitness Hosts REV by Rachele Ribera

We are excited to announce that this July, Electric Daisy Fitness will host Rachele Ribera for a 2 day intensive on dancing in heels. Part 1 in the brand new Heel Drive curriculum, REV aims to help pole dancers create new movement pathways and improve flow in heels. Beyond learning to walk, students will progress through the five fundamentals central to all heelwork to establish a technically sound framework for movement in heels.
REV is loaded with introductory exercises that are tailored to recruit and create the necessary ankle support system for boxwork. An assessment of foot and ankle articulation on a barefoot level will occur, as well as a thorough discussion on heel anatomy, fit, and the differences across heel heights and styles.

Requirements: Previous experience dancing in heels is not required, but students must have a minimum of 3 to 4 months pole dance experience. Heel height must be at least 7.5 inches, and no more than 9 inches (2 pairs are highly recommended). Ankle straps are required. Students should also bring socks. Street shoes, boots, and box covers are not permitted. Please do not wear shoes with metal details.
